A large stack of paper sits in the centre of a white space, weighed down by an object • 20/7/19
These are the only things occupying the space, and provide the basis for an artist to create works. The stack of A4 is to be used in the creation of artworks that are placed on the wall ready for the next artist’s arrival.
Each artist must bring an object to replace the previous one, and can only bring materials they can carry on their person. Subsequent artists will then arrive to a smaller stack of paper, an increasing amount of work on the wall and an object (paperweight) left by the previous artist. The result is a selection of works / an exhibition made in response to the space and all of the people who have been involved.
